Happy #humpday friends! Wanted to quickly write about something important. This past weekend we lost a boy in Katy due to drowning. Don’t want to get into details but just wanted to bring awareness and tell you that it can happen to anyone. I have been reading so many comments on cases like these and I’m heartbroken.  _ First of all, it can happen to anyone. No one chooses to ‘ignore or not watch’ their children. Age is one of the major factors for drowning and the highest drowning rates are among children 1-4 years (WHO). _ Second, accidents can happen to anyone anywhere so, the least we can do is take precaution and try to prevent drowning. Send your kids for swim lessons, talk to them about water safety and give them all the necessary device for them to float. If you’re even 1% unsure about their skills, please don’t forget to put the floatation arms around them. Better safe than sorry!
